Description Turbo spacer suitable for fitting an original 1.6TD JX turbo and Manifold to an AAZ engine. As the AAZ block is slightly taller the turbo usually sits a little higher than the standard position.This spacer moves it back to pretty much exactly where it would be as standard allowing the use of the original Oil Feed, Oil Return and Exhaust system without modification. Included with the spacer are 4 mounting bolts – 15mm longer than standard.The original bolts are a special alloy (Nimonic 75) to withstand the constant cooling and heating of the exhaust and turbo.We’d prefer to use similar bolts but the fact is that it would push the price well into 3 figures.As it is these are a compromise… we’ve fitted and tested this kit and over a year later its showing no issues. Could also be drilled and tapped to allow the fitment of an EGT probe.
