Description Anti Squeal shims for the brake pads on early T3s with Dual Piston ATE Calipers. Laser cut from Stainless steel. The original shims were “handed” in that it was a different shim for each pad, ours are designed to work in either side and just have 2 tabs to bend in before installation depending on which pad its going behind. The idea behind the tangs is that they locate in the caliper piston and are to stop the piston turning, the shims are supplied flat and will require the tangs bending slightly before installation. 4 required per vehcile, 2 per caliper. Please refer to the workshop manual if you are unsure about the position of the caliper piston.
