Description In Tibetan Buddhism, Kurukulla is a female Yidam connected to enchantment or magnetization rituals and is sometimes called Mother Buddha. She is often depicted with four arms and a red body, holding a flower-shaped bow and arrow in one hand and a flower-shaped hook and noose in the other. In Hindu astronomy, Kurukulla is believed to be a change of Heruka or an emanation of Amitabha, one of Tara’s forms. In Hinduism, she is associated with the Shri Yantra.
