Amitayus, also called Aparamita in some traditions, is a celestial Buddha known as the Buddha of Limitless Life in Mahayana Buddhist scriptures. As the sambhogakaya, or celestial form, of Amitabha Buddha, Amitayus is especially associated with long life.
